Derwent London, a REIT* focused on improving and upgrading London offices, has given a huge boost to St Luke’s community food hub by donating £10,000 which will be used over the next six months to support local residents in need through the cost of living crisis.

St Luke’s food hub was set-up to provide local support during the Covid-19 pandemic, and continues to provide weekly groceries to local households who are on low income and struggling financially. Along with food and other essentials there is longer term support including grants, information, advice, job club and wellbeing activities. There is also a Food Co-op for ongoing support.

Keren Wiltshire, St Luke’s Director of Services, says: “Our food hub is as important as ever through the cost of living crisis, and provides a lifeline to local families in need of essentials to get them through the week. We are so grateful for this vital support from the Derwent London Community Fund, which will have a huge impact on alleviating hardship.”
