About us Latest news Gardening in February Why not starting the New Year with some gardening? It might sound strange, but winter is the perfect time to start gardening. This is because, while nature is resting and plants are getting ready to start blooming in spring, gardeners can get ready too by making plans, pruning, improving soil, buying seeds, and doing all the changes that are needed for the new growing season. In February, our Tuesday Gardening Group (link to group activity page) will be busy with many of these activities, while the Thursday Food Growing group is taking a break in order to allow some important works to be carried out in the Edible Yard (link to space’s page).
