St Luke’s main celebration for Black History Month was on Wednesday 26th October during the school half term.

There was lots on offer to our members and families ranging from creating culinary dishes, painting and drawing, table tennis, a quiz with prizes and print making with our resident artist Georgie Faye.

A delicious lunch was served by St Luke’s catering team and on the menu was sweet potato curry, rice with beans, spicy chicken and salad.

The afternoon was an energetic atmosphere with a creative dance performance from our younger members. Afterwards Duna instructed the participants and everyone got up and performed in a dance routine.

The evening event was for adults only with live performances from Poor Billionaires, EKO and JunGle Leez with her accompanying musicians.

It was a great day for the members, staff and families that joined us for the day.
