St Luke’s Gardening Activities are open for all!

St Luke’s green spaces have been awarded again with two important recognitions: ‘Gold Medal’ for the Our Community category, and ‘Outstanding’ for It’s Your Neighbourhood category, in occasion of London in Bloom competition 2018. If you haven’t visited our wonderful Edible Yard, or haven’t been inspired by our colourful potted plant display on St Luke’s Terrace yet, it is time to come and have a look.

You can also take part to one – or both! – our gardening groups, happening every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, from 2pm to 4pm. Have a look on the Gardening section on our website for more information.

New exciting activities will happen in November, which include planting bulbs for an amazing array of colours in spring, building a containerised pond and bog garden on the Terrace, as well as harvesting Jerusalem artichokes and planning for the next crops to grow in the Edible Yard. We will be also running a volunteering day in King’s Square Gardens, where we will refresh and plant the food growing area that is regularly used by the Men’s Shed Group.
