No matter what your experience or where you live, you are always very welcome to join in any of our Community Gardening Activities at St Luke’s Community Gardens. Even if you don’t like to put your hands in the soil, please come and have a look at our award-winning green spaces, where you can get inspired by what can be achieved with plants in an urbanised area.

At St Luke’s we have two weekly gardening groups:

St Luke’s Gardening Group

When: Every Tuesday, 2-4pm

Where: St Luke's Terrace (1st floor)

With a focus on learning different ornamental gardening skills and techniques, specifically how to grow amazing decorative plants in small urban spaces such as balconies, patios, small gardens and window seals. The group maintains St Luke’s Terrace in all its splendour.

If you’d like to be involved, please email Catherine.

St Luke’s Food Growing Group

When: Every Thursday, 2-4pm

Where: St Luke's Edible Yard (at the back of the Community Centre)

Growing a variety of edible plants, flowers and berries from around the world, the group is always busy with some seasonal work in order to keep the Edible Yard a beautiful, productive and unique space for community activities. The focus is on organic food growing, using techniques from permaculture and forest gardening.

If you’d like to be involved, please email Zoe.
